WOMEN’S CATECHESIS & FELLOWSHIP

Beginning with a talk by Fr. Romanoski, the Women’s Group will meet for the first time this coming Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 7:30 P.M. After Fr. Romanoski’s talk, “Growing in Holiness: In Imitation of Mary Most holy,” refreshments and conversations will be enjoyed. ADULT CATECHESIS CLASS & ACOLYTE TRAINING SATURDAY

Adult catechesis class and acolyte training will occur this coming Saturday, Jan. 27 at Royal Palm Academy. Please RSVP to Fr. Romanoski for the catechesis class, and Fr. Passo for the acolyte training.

20TH ANNUAL SARASOTA PRAYER WALK FOR LIFE

The Sarasota Prayer Walk for Life is on Monday, Jan. 22, at St. Martha Church, 200 North Orange Avenue, Sarasota to pray for an end to abortion. Bishop Frank J. Dewane will celebrate the 8:30 A.M. Mass. A shuttle bus will provide free transportation to join others in circling the block around Planned Parenthood in prayer between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided in the hall at St. Martha. The new life-affirming Community Pregnancy Clinic right across from one of the nation’s largest Planned Parenthood locations, will be open for tours.


NAPLES PRAYER WALK FOR LIFE

Mark your calendar to join Bishop Frank J. Dewane on Ash Wednesday, February 14, for the 8:00 A.M. Mass at St. William Church. A shuttle will be available after Mass to the start of a peaceful Prayer Walk to Planned Parenthood with Bishop Dewane. This event marks the beginning of the Spring 40 Days for Life Campaign. Call 239-227-5192 for details. Community Pregnancy Clinic’s new Naples Midtown Clinic across the street from Planned Parenthood will have an open house with tours before and after the Prayer Walk.

SPIRITUAL HIGHLIGHTS OF FRANCE TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC PILGRIMAGE

Fr. Garrick Huang, FSSP will be leading this 9-day pilgrimage in May, 2018. Highlights include a stay at the traditional Benedictine Fontgombault Abbey, visits to Nevers and Ars to see the incorrupt remains of St. Bernadette of Lourdes and St. John Vianney, a stay in the Alps at La Salette where Our Lady appeared to shepherd children and a visit to Paray-le-Monial, where the Sacred Heart of Jesus appeared to St. Margaret Mary. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP PREPARE FOR MASS

We still need a few more volunteers to help set up the altar before Mass during the week. This involves arriving ~30 minutes before Mass to set up the altar linens. Please sign up for a twice-a-month turn in the back of the chapel.


KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS GROUP FORMATION

We are exploring the formation of our own KofC organization. To determine feasability and form, we need to know how many men (aged 18 years and up) are interested. Any Knight or man interested please contact Dave Grothaus at (703)772-3657 or [email protected].

You can now register as a parishioner of Corpus Christi Chapel using the paper forms which are available at the back of the chapel, or can be downloaded to print here, and may be submitted to the office at St. Agnes. Online registration will be available soon. If you were registered at Christ the King, your records may have been transferred already.


HOW TO GIVE

Online donations, both one-time and recurring, are now available at CorpusChristiFSSP.com/donate. Checks should be made out to Corpus Christi Chapel and sent to 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Rd. Naples, FL 34120. If you have general questions regarding giving, please contact Diane via email. If you wish to transfer your automatic giving from Christ the King Parish you will need to end it by contacting them, and sign up with Corpus Christi Chapel. Unfortunately, it is not possible to automatically move your recurring donations.
