PLENARY INDULGENCE TODAY

After the 8:45 A.M. Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday we will have Exposition, Benediction & the recitation of the Divine Mercy chaplet. This, along with the usual conditions (confession 20 days before or after, Sacramental Communion, detachment from all affection to sin, and prayers for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff), fulfills the requirements for a plenary indulgence. Alternatively, one can, in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, recite the Our Father, the Creed, and a devout prayer to the merciful Lord Jesus (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you!”).
