Single Young Adults Conference in Dallas
An opportunity for the single young adults of our community (and friends) to meet other young Catholics is available next week in Dallas.
Although the website indicates an earlier deadline to register, you can still register by sending an email with your name(s) and the number of people attending to [email protected], and bring $10 per person with you.
Single young adults (20+ yrs old) are invited to a weekend conference which will include talks on Catholic Culture by Fr. O’Brien, FSSP and Fr. Houck, FSSP. There will also be a hike and a Contra Dance with live music. Meals will be provided but not lodging. The event begins on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 6pm at Mater Dei Parish and concludes with a pancake breakfast following Mass on Sunday, June 24, 2018.
You can find out more about the parish here.
Please Consider Becoming an Usher
We Need a Few Good Men
Being an usher is a great privilege and responsibility. They are, in part, an extension of our priestly ministry among the people and the care of the Church of God. We thank those who have volunteered and ask that more men consider helping with this role. Those interested, contact [email protected].
Save The Date: Musica Sacra Florida Summer Chant Camp & Workshop
Mark your calendars now for two events, one for children and another for adults (teens welcome to attend). The first event, a Gregorian Chant Camp for Children ages 8 through 18 from Monday July 23rd through Friday July 27th is an excursion through the Catholic Church's timeless treasures. Gregorian Chant, Sacred Art, Holy Symbols and presentations from both Fathers with plenty of play will guide in deepening your children's understanding the Liturgy of the Mass. The second event is a one-and-a-half day Gregorian Chant Workshop for adults and young adults beginning the evening of Friday July 27th.
