Corpus Christi Chapel

The Forty Hours Devotion and the Diocesan Rosary Congress at Corpus Christi Chapel from October 6th to 8th, 2024.

The 40 hours Devotion is an exposition and continuous adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, day and night for the faithful to spend time in prayer.

The ceremony will commence tomorrow with the celebration of the High Mass at 9:30 a.m. Following Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for 40 hours. There will be a second Mass on Monday, October 7th at 7:00 a.m. and a third Mass on Tuesday, October 8th at 7:00 a.m.

The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. Yearly, the Universal Church celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in honor of the Blessed Mother. October is also the month in which Mary appeared for the last time to shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, urging them to “say the rosary every day to obtain peace for the world.”

The 40 hours Devotion is being offered to defeat Florida’s Amendment 4 and abortion within our state, nation, and the world., Please pray the Rosary during each hour of your service as an adorer

We are participating in the Rosary Congress of the Diocese of Venice. The theme for the 2024 Diocesan Rosary Congress is "Do Whatever He Tells You" (John 2:5), which is the Blessed Virgin Mary’s last utterance in Scripture. She speaks to the servants at the Wedding Feast at Cana.
Bishop Frank J. Dewane highlighted the power of the Rosary and called on everyone to pray it, live it, and persevere.
