The Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, ¨Candlemas¨ will be on Sunday , February 2nd.

February 2nd is the second-class feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, commonly known as Candlemas. We will have the traditional blessing of candles, a procession around Corpus Christi Chapel, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a High Mass after the procession. 

If you would like to bring candles to be blessed, please make sure they are at least 51% beeswax and placed on or around the table at the front of the Chapel before 9:00 a.m. The blessing will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the procession and Mass to follow. 

Please be informed that there will be no candle blessing during the 7:30 a.m. Mass in Naples or 12:30 p.m. Mass in Fort Myers on February 2nd.
