"It is no coincidence that Christian tradition shows the spirits of the blessed as they sing in chorus, captivated and enraptured by the beauty of God. But true art, like prayer, is not foreign to everyday reality, rather it calls us to 'irrigate' that reality, to make it sprout that it may bring forth fruits of goodness and peace." - Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

Participants will learn about the rich history of sacred art and how such art elevates our minds, drawing us closer to God. To help facilitate this end, we ask that campers elevate their dress as well, dressing in such a way that will set our time together apart from everyday summer activities. Please see below for guidelines on appropriate clothing. Note: In addition to sessions on music and art, students will have recreation time to play basketball, soccer, run around, etc. Their clothing should not restrict these activities.
