Mass Times for All Saints and All Souls
Tuesday, November 1st, is the first-class feast of All Saints. It is a holy day of obligation which means all Catholics must attend holy Mass under penalty of mortal sin. Mass will be at 12pm at Resurrection in Ft. Myers and 4pm and 5:15pm at St. Agnes in Naples.
Wednesday, November 2nd, is the first-class feast of All Souls. It is not a holy day of obligation. Mass will be at St. Agnes at 3pm, 4pm, and 5:15pm. This day a priest may celebrate three Masses, hence the three Mass times. A plenary indulgence, applicable only to the Poor Souls, is granted to those who visit any parish church or public oratory and there recite one Our Father and one Credo.
