Wedding banns

Let it be known to all here present that Joseph Busemeyer and Theresa Higginson to contract marriage between themselves on June 5th, 2026. Therefore, we admonish all that if anyone is aware of any existing impediment that would prohibit marriage between them, that he is obligated to reveal it as soon as possible to the Pastor or the Bishop, and this serves as the second publication of these Banns.

Attention Catholic Men: Rosary in Reparation for “Pride” Event

As we did during this year’s and last year’s Naples Pride Festival, we will hold a public recitation of the rosary in reparation for the Fort Myers event. We will meet in the park next to the public library on First Street (between Lee Street and Royal Palm Avenue) on June 13th at 3 PM and then proceed to the event itself, where we will recite the rosary in or near the parking lot across the street from the Art Center.

Since we are addressing an extreme form of immodesty, we kindly ask that you dress modestly, wearing long pants (no shorts) and a collared shirt, to set a positive public example. Please consider joining this effort and spreading the word to like-minded individuals. Thank you!
