The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. Yearly, the Universal Church celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in honor of the Blessed Mother. October is also the month in which Mary appeared for the last time to shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, urging them to “say the rosary every day to obtain peace for the world.”
The 40 hours Devotion is being offered to defeat Florida’s Amendment 4 and abortion within our state, nation, and the world., Please pray the Rosary during each hour of your service as an adorer.
We are participating in the Rosary Congress of the Diocese of Venice. The theme for the 2024 Diocesan Rosary Congress is "Do Whatever He Tells You" (John 2:5), which is the Blessed Virgin Mary’s last utterance in Scripture. She speaks to the servants at the Wedding Feast at Cana.
Bishop Frank J. Dewane highlighted the power of the Rosary and called on everyone to pray it, live it, and persevere.

Did you know that making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to Corpus Christi Chapel from your IRA can be a tax-wise to help those whom we serve?
- If you are age 70 1/2 or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution to support out missionary work. If you are age 73 or older, you can even use your Required Minimum Distribution to make a QCD.
- A QCD effectively lowers the income you must report on your tax return.
- Although a charitable tax deduction is not allowed, even if you do not itemize charitable gifts on your tax return, you can benefit by making a QCD.
- The limit is $105,000, and the distribution must come directly to us from your plan administrator.
There are other benefits to making a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA. Should any queries arise, please feel free to contact us via email at [email protected].
