Please note that senior scholas will have additional rehearsals on the other Saturdays of the month.
The rehearsal schedule is as follows.

The senior scholas learn a variety of sacred music including chant, hymns, and polyphony. They rehearse weekly in order to sing at the 8:45am Sunday Mass once a month and for special occasions.
The junior scholas study a variety of sacred music at an age appropriate level. They learn how to sing in an ensemble and how to read music, particularly Gregorian chant, in order to prepare them for singing in the senior schola. While these junior scholas do not sing at the monthly Masses, they will be preparing to sing for special occasions.
If your child is interested in joining a schola, please contact Miss Rutherford at [email protected] for more information.
There is a small registration fee per semester (Fall & Spring) so as to provide a stipend for our generous instructors for their wonderful service for your children and the whole community.
1st child aged 4-9: $45
1st child aged 10-17: $60
2nd child: subtract $10 from the registration fee
Family maximum: $110 per semester
Adults’ Rehearsals: In addition to our children’s scholas, we also have a group of adults experienced in chant who sing at the 8:45am Mass weekly and on feast days. Any adults interested in joining this ensemble may contact Miss Rutherford at [email protected] for more information.

From Catherine Yarbrough, Food coordinator:
"The meal group is looking for two or three more women/moms who can bring a meal to our dear priests at least once a month. We have lost a few members recently because they are moving away, are dealing with Covid, or have recently had new babies, etc. so we would really appreciate if you can join us in feeding our priests starting in October. Our Lord said that we fed Him when we fed the hungry - what would He say about when we feed His hungry priests, who actually represent Himself on earth?! :-) Please contact me at [email protected], or text at 239-503-1303. Thank you so much for your kind consideration! May God reward you!"
Please remember that such a donation can be part of one's parish tithing and the gift of a prepared meal helps the priests have more time to attend to their flock.
An adventure group for boys (ages 5-19) and their fathers is starting in October. There will be monthly activities like camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing for boys, together with their fathers, to enjoy. Information and a sign-up will be available at Royal Palm Academy on Saturday, Septemeber 18th at 10:30am or you can email Ron Freeze ([email protected]) to recieve details and confirm your interest.
Corpus Christi Chapel is organizing online classes for any adults who are interested in joining or coming back to the Catholic Church. We plan on beginning these classes in mid-September. Please let us know if you or someone you know is interested by emailing us at [email protected] with the subject heading- RCIA
Do you know the story of the Mothers of Lu? The mothers of the village of Lu, Italy (population 1200) prayed together on the first Sunday of each month, and, as a result, from their tiny village came 323 vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life!
Read the story Here!
Following the admirable example of the Mothers of Lu, we will recite the same prayer they offered (slightly revised to include religious as well as priests) after the 8.45 am Mass on the first Sunday of each month (starting September 5). If you cannot make it to the 845am mass, please join in prayer wherever you are on the first Sunday of each month in offering the prayer at the end of this post, asking God for the gift of priests and religious, especially from our own families! Following the prayer of the Mothers of Lu, we will also say a prayer (see below) for the Church in this time of difficulty. Please come to the pews near the altar rail, after the altar boys say their prayers after Mass. Please also offer, if you can, your Holy Communion and Rosary on the first Sunday of every month for vocations.
The prayers of the Mothers of Lu: “O God, grant that one of my children may become a priest!O Lord, grant that one of my children may become a religious!I myself want to live as a good Christian and want to guide my children to do always what is right, so that I may receive the grace, O God, to be allowed to give you both a holy priest and a religious! Amen.”
Prayers for the Church: "O Holy Spirit, Creator, mercifully assist Thy Catholic Church, and by Thy heavenly power strengthen and establish Her against the assaults of all Her enemies; and by Thy love and grace renew the spirit of Thy servants whom Thou hast anointed, that in Thee they may glorify the Father and His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."
Fr. Adams will be away until September 11 doing his annual retreat and a week of vacation. Please direct all inquiries to Fr. Romanoski.
