Parishioner Looking for Roommate
A parishioner of Corpus Christi Chapel is looking to rent a room in East Naples. Rent is $700 a month. Washer and dryer provided as well as parking. It is within walking distance of a Walmart and only a ten-minute drive to Marco Island. If you are interested or for more information, please contact Lilly at 239-920-1140.
Upcoming Group Meetings
Just a heads-up that our monthly group meetings will be on the following dates:
Women's Group will be held on Tuesday, March 14th 6:30 to 8:30pm.
Men's Group will be held on Wednesday, March 15th 6:30 to 8:30pm at a new location.
Young Adult Group will be held on Saturday March 18th from 6pm to 9pm.

Weekly Highlights for February 26th to March 4th
Wednesday, March 1st, we will have Spanish Catechesis in the confessional room at St. Agnes.
Friday, March 3rd, First Friday devotions after the Masses at 4pm and 5:15pm.
Saturday, March 4th, we will have classes and activities at Royal Palm Academy.
Laws of Fasting and Abstinence
Abstinence under the current practice begins on one's 14th birthday. Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence.
Fasting under the current practice applies to everyone aged 18 to 59, inclusive. One full meal is permitted, and two other meals may be taken which, when combined, are less than a full meal. Days of fasting are Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
It is only the current law that binds under sin.
Abstinence from the 1962 discipline begins on one's 7th birthday. Complete abstinence on all Fridays of the year, Ash Wednesday, Holy Saturday and the Vigil of Christmas. Partial abstinence all the days of Lent, Ember Wednesdays and Saturdays and the Vigils of Pentecost and the Assumption (meat and soup or gravy made from meat permitted once a day at the principle meal)
Abstinence from meat is dispensed on Holy Days of Obligation

Weekly Highlights for February 19th to 26th
Wednesday, February 22nd, is Ash Wednesday. Masses are 7am at St. Agnes; 12:15pm at Resurrection in Ft. Myers; 4pm and 5:15pm at St. Agnes.
Thursday, February 23rd, the first-class feast of the Chair of St. Peter (transferred from February 22nd) Mass will begin at 5pm.
Friday, February 24th, Stations of the Cross after the 5:15pm Mass at St. Agnes
Friday, February 24th, last day to register for Confirmation. To register click here. Absolutely no late registrations will be accepted.
Saturday, February 25th, Young Adult Group meets from 6pm to 9pm.
Sunday, February 26th, potluck at Royal Palm Academy from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent
On Fridays during Lent, we will pray the Stations of the Cross immediately after the 5:15pm Mass at St. Agnes (weather permitting). The stations are located just south of the main Church.
Puppies and the Building Project

Would you like to support the building project? Do you also love puppies? Well, now you can do both! The Vealey family has a litter of puppies for sale and all the proceeds with go to support the building fund. There are 12 puppies. On March 17th they will be 8 weeks old and ready to go. They are AKC registered white German Shepherds. These puppies have been raised with children and are constantly being handled. Both dog parents are on site and friendly as well. The cost is $1000 per pup. They come with their shots, dewormer, and vet check. If interested, contact Aubrey Vealey 239-633-4388 so you can visit the pups on the Vealey family farm.
