Happy Fathers' Day
From the Fathers of Corpus Christi Chapel to all the fathers in the pews, all the unsung heroes who have worked so hard to teach the faith to their families, who have instilled discipline and virtue to their little ones, who have broken their backs at work to put food on the table and clothes on the backs of their families, to all of you we wish you a very Happy Fathers' Day!
External Solemnity of Corpus Christ and Fathers' Day
Tomorrow is the external solemnity of Corpus Christi our patronal feast. Yes, we can celebrate it twice. Happy Feast to all! Please remember that the 845am Mass at St. Agnes will be a low Mass. The 4:30pm Mass at St. William's will be a solemn high Mass with the traditional Eucharistic procession to follow. Since solemn high Mass requires three ministers (priest, deacon, and subdeacon) we will not be available to hear confessions during Mass.
Chant Camp T-Shirts
If you signed up for Chant Camp you can pick up your t-shirt after the 4:30pm Mass at St. William's on Sunday, June 19th. If you are not able to make it to that Mass, you can get your shirt on Monday when you show up for Camp.
Confessions on Sundays
With a vibrant and growing community there is a great demand for confessions. To facilitate everyone having the opportunity to go to confession we ask that if you have the opportunity to go to Confession during the week, please do so. Sunday confessions really should be primarily for those who are not able to go during the week. We also ask that you pray regularly for an increase in priestly vocations.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Agnes
If you would like to Adore our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament from 4pm to 4:30pm please email Deacon Roberto at St. Agnes to receive an access code: [email protected] The doors will be locked at 4pm so if you come after you will need an access code to get in.
St. Agnes is looking for adorers to come in at all hours as they seek to return perpetual adoration. Please contact the St. Agnes parish office to sign up for an hour with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
Corpus Christi Feast Day Masses
Our Chapel's feast day is coming up on Thursday June 16th and the external solemnity will also be celebrated on Sunday June 19th. June 16th Mass will be at 4:45pm because we will have a High Mass and in order to end in time for the Spanish Mass at 6:30pm we need to start earlier. On June 19th, the External Solemnity of Corpus Christi, we will have a Solemn High Mass with the traditional Corpus Christi procession at 4:30pm. The 8:45am Mass on June 19th will be a low Mass.
Weekly Highlights for June 5th to 11th
