Missals Left Behind

Several Missals without names have been left behind after Mass by parishioners. If you have recently lost your Missal, they will be in the confessional room at St. Agnes. For all parishioners, please ensure that your name and possibly a phone number is written in your Missal in case you lose yours.

Building Update

After a long pause, we are happy to give a building update. We are now able to use the classrooms and offices in our new Church location. All classes and non-liturgical activities will take place there from now on.

God willing, we will be able to have Masses in the new Church in October. We will officially announce the first Mass date in the new location as soon as possible.

All confessions and Mass times will remain as is until we move into the new location. We will keep you posted!

Alternative to Smartphones and Blocks for Devices

If you are looking for an alternative to smartphones, consider the Wise Phone. It has all the stuff you need without all the potentially sinful stuff you don't need. It includes a clock, calculator, maps, messages, phone, camera, flashlight, photos. This would be ideal for kids whose parents might think their children "need" a phone.

If, for some reason, a person is deemed to need to have a "smartphone" a very good blocker is Quostodio

Communion Outside of Mass for the Sick Only

It has long been the tradition in the Catholic Church that Communion only be given outside of Mass to those who are sick and unable to attend Holy Mass. The priests will not give Holy Communion to people outside of Mass to those who arrived late or who were in line for Confession, etc. If you are trying to make the First Saturday devotion, please note that it is not a requirement to receive Holy Communion on the First Saturday. Communion received on Friday or Sunday before or after the First Saturday of the month suffices for this devotion.
