The Bulletin: Each Saturday night we send an easily-readable digital version of the bulletin via email. Add yourself to the list and stay up-to-date as we establish our community.
Other Groups: Emails on an as-needed basis for those interested Adult Cathechesis, Women's Group, Men's Group, Young Adult group, etc. (Ususally about 2 per month.)
Fr. Shannon Collins MSJB will be visiting and giving a 20 minute talk entitled "To Jesus through Mary" Thursday and Friday after our 5:15 PM Masses at St. Agnes Chapel.
His Excellency, Bishop Frank Dewayne, will confer the sacrament of Confirmation on May 26th at 10am, after the 8:45am Mass at St. Agnes. If you have a child over 15 years of age, and registered with Corpus Christi Chapel please let us know so as to examine him/her in due time. Please plan on attending the supplementary confirmation classes which will be given on certain Saturdays as indicated in the monthly schedule of the bulletin.
There will be an opportunity to enroll the Maidens of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament during the Holy Half Hours after the 5:15 PM Masses on December 31st and January 1st.
We will be giving Epiphany home blessings beginning on the Vigil of the Epiphany, Jan. 5. Please sign up on the sheet at the back of the chapel if you wish to have your home blessed. We will try to bless every home, but if necessary, homes previously blessed can have their blessing renewed by the head of household with the family. “A plenary indulgence is granted to the Christian faithful who, in a church or in an oratory, are present [take part] in a recitation or solemn chant of: ... the hymn Veni Creator ... on the first day of the year, imploring divine assistance for the whole of the coming year... the Te Deum hymn, on the last day of the year, in thanksgiving to God for the favors received in the course of the entire year.” After the 5:15PM Mass on December 31st and January 1, we will recite these hymns during 30 minute respective Holy Half Hours. N.B. All the normal requirements for an indulgence apply.
This Tuesday, January 1st, is Octave Day of the Nativity and a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be offered in Naples at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. The 10 AM Mass will be sung. Mass will be offered in Fort Myers at 1:15 PM.
The blessing of Epiphany water will take place this Saturday, January 5 at 4:30 PM in the Chapel at St. Agnes. This beautiful and powerful blessing will last about 45 minutes. We will try to have enough water for everyone, but you are welcome to bring large containers of water as well as any chalk, incense, gold, and myrrh which you wish to have blessed.
Come join us for the traditional Spanish-American preparation for Christmas with the Posada–Advent Novena. Rosary, Litany in procession, Posada hymn, food and fellowship. This final posada will be hosted at 1980 24th ave NE Naples, Fl. 34120, today, Sunday the 23rd at 6:00 P.M.
The 27th is the feast of St. John the Evangelist. According to the Roman Ritual, we will have a blessing of wine and spirits after the 5:15 P.M. Mass
We will not hold any classes this Saturday, December 29th, nor will the Legion of Mary meet this Tuesday or next (Dec 25, Jan 1).
