New Data Base for Corpus Christi Chapel
On the occasion of our Patronal Feast, Corpus Christi, we would like to announce our new Chapel database. We are hoping to every parishioner will participate. We would like to know about your talents and potential contributions to our new parish home. When we move into the new Church, which hopefully will be soon, we will need landscapers, maintenance personnel, painters, people to help clean, iron, sew, you name it! If you are interested in security systems, if you own a car dealership, if you would like to teach a subject to homeschoolers, etc. we would like to know. We would like to know about your interests, hobbies, talents, and any way you, friends and family would be willing to contribute to the glory of God's House and the well-being of our parish family.

Weekly Highlights for June 11th to 17th
Sunday, June 11th, the 8:45am Mass at St. Agnes will be a low Mass. The 4:30pm Mass at St. William's will be a Solemn High Mass with a Eucharistic procession immediately after Mass.
Friday, June 16th, is the first-class feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We will have a Solemn High Mass at 5:15pm at St. Agnes.
Sunday, June 18th, is Father's Day. Happy Fathers' day to all the dads out there!
Family in need of a minivan
A young and growing family is in urgent need of a minivan to help transport them to and from Mass, work, the store, etc. In the next few weeks, they won't be able to fit their family in their vehicle. If you would like to help them in any way in their search, please contact Fr. Adams at [email protected].

The Mass time at Resurrection in Fort Myers will move from 12:15pm to 12:30pm effective on June 4th, 2023.
Looking for a new Secretary
Corpus Christi Chapel is in need of a secretary to help with many things! We are looking for a part-time paid position, about 12 hours per week. Ideally, it would be someone who lives in the Naples area year-round, is good at organizing events and schedules, is willing to work from the office (our new Church site). Job Description
DUTIES
- Telephone: answer, screen and route incoming calls, promptly, accurately and courteously. Provide answers to parishioner questions and provide assistance when appropriate. Coordinate servicing of office telephones/answering system, updating messages as needed.
- Filing: Establish and maintain up-to-date filing systems, both hard copy and computer files. Distribute copies as needed and make computer back-up files as needed.
- Records: maintain and update parish records e.g. recording of marriages, baptisms, funerals, new parishioners, financial contributions issuing certificates where applicable and Mass intentions.
- Typing/word processing: prepare, type/word process, proof, correct and in some cases compose routine and non-routine correspondence, memos, reports, forms, documents and bulletins. Develop/maintain parish calendars.
- Mail: Distribute/route office mail and email as needed. Prepare regular and bulk mailings. Sign for deliveries and notify appropriate people. Make copies or orders printing as needed.
- Scheduling: Place events on parish calendar as needed.
- Ordering: order office supplies and arrange for supplies easy access. Assist in ordering for special activities.
- Communication: compile weekly bulletin assuring quality control in accordance with administrator/pastor.
- Emergency Response: monitor emergency line 24/7.
- Petty Cash: maintain petty cash box and receipts for incidental expenses.
- Supervising: coordinate and supervise staff and volunteers in front office
- Knowledge of various computer software programs to include, Word, Excel, Publisher, Access and InDesign along with hardware such as scanner, printer, PC’s, copiers etc.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Proficient typing skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to relate to a variety of personalities.
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to research
TIME COMMITMENT
· 12 hours per week
PAYMENT
· $16 per hour to start
EXPECTATIONS
- Provides secretarial and receptionist support to the Administrator/Pastor, filing, greeting and directing visitors, scheduling parish calendar, ordering office and liturgical supplies and preparing parish publications.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Minimum High School graduate advanced education a plus
- General office experience and/or previous Church extremely helpful
- Must pass background check
