Mass for the Immaculate Conception
The Mass times for December 8th, the first-class feast of the Immaculate Conception, which is a holy day of obligation, are:
12pm Resurrection in Fort Myers
4pm St Agnes in Naples
5:15pm sung Mass at St Agnes in Naples
Mass on Thanksgiving
Mass on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24th, will be at 10am at St Agnes and not at 5:15pm
Weekly Highlights for November 13th to 19th
Tuesday, November 15th, the Men's Group will meet from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Towne Place Suites Naples by Marriott Hotel 5425 Juliet Blvd. Naples, FL 34109
Wednesday, November 16th, the Women's Group will meet from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at a parishioner's house which is near St. Agnes. Please sign up to receive further details and RSVP.
Saturday, November 19th, the Activities at Royal Palm are cancelled.
Saturday, November 19th, the Young Adult Group will meet 6pm to 9pm at a parishioner's house which is near St. Agnes. You must RSVP to receive a gate pass.
Wedding Banns
Let it be known to all here present that Timothy Wills and Anne Elizabeth Green intend to contract marriage between themselves on November 26th. Therefore, we admonish all that if anyone is aware of any existing impediment that would prohibit marriage between them, that he is obligated to reveal it as soon as possible to the Pastor or the Bishop, and this serves as the second publication of these Banns.

Indulgences for the Poor Souls in Purgatory
The month of November is dedicated to the Holy Souls in Purgatory. On all the days from November 1 to November 8 inclusive, a plenary indulgence, applicable only to the Holy Souls, is granted to those who visit a cemetery and pray, even if mentally, for the departed (for the other requirements for gaining an indulgence click here).
November 5th, Activities at Royal Palm
The activities at Royal Palm Academy on November 5th will be a bit different. Fr. Adams will not be around and so there will be no altar server training. Fr. van Zee will teach the adult catechism class at 9am. Choir and Maidens will still meet but with a slightly truncated schedule. All activities will end by 11:00am.
Mass Times for All Saints and All Souls
Tuesday, November 1st, is the first-class feast of All Saints. It is a holy day of obligation which means all Catholics must attend holy Mass under penalty of mortal sin. Mass will be at 12pm at Resurrection in Ft. Myers and 4pm and 5:15pm at St. Agnes in Naples.
Wednesday, November 2nd, is the first-class feast of All Souls. It is not a holy day of obligation. Mass will be at St. Agnes at 3pm, 4pm, and 5:15pm. This day a priest may celebrate three Masses, hence the three Mass times. A plenary indulgence, applicable only to the Poor Souls, is granted to those who visit any parish church or public oratory and there recite one Our Father and one Credo.

In the Secret of the of the Rosary St. Louis de Montfort said: "Public prayer is far more powerful than private prayer to appease the anger of God and call down His mercy, and Holy Mother Church, guided by the Holy Ghost, has always advocated public prayer in times of public tragedy and suffering."
