Weekly Highlights for January 19th to 27th
Friday, January 19th, Monthly sung Requiem Mass at 5:15pm at St. Agnes
Saturday, January 20th, 6:45am last Mass at St. Agnes. If possible, please consider staying and helping to clear out all of our things from St. Agnes. Many hands make light work!
Saturday, January 20th, from 10am to 1pm March for Life Activities in Ave Maria football stadium. There will be no choir, Maidens, acolytes, or man-skills so everyone is free to attend the March!
Sunday, January 21st, at 7:30am and 9:30am first Masses in the new Church. Lunch will follow the 9:30am Mass.
Saturday, January 27th, 9am exam for the RCIA candidates in the new Church classrooms. This is not for potential confirmation candidates.
The Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, ¨Candlemas¨ will be on Friday , February 2nd.
February 2nd is the second-class feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, commonly known as Candlemas. We will have the traditional blessing of candles, a procession around Corpus Christi Chapel, and a High Mass after the procession.
If you would like to bring candles to be blessed, please make sure they are at least 51% beeswax and they are placed on or around the table at the front of the Chapel before 5:30 p.m. The blessing will begin at 5:30 pm with the procession and Mass to follow.
Please be informed that there will be no candle blessing during the morning mass on February 2nd.

Corpus Christi Chapel - New Church Building
Dear members of CCC Parish,
We are delighted to share with you that, through the intercession of Glorious St. Joseph, we have received authorization to open the doors of our new church building. This is a momentous occasion for us, and we feel incredibly blessed to have been provided with a new home, a beautiful and worthy dwelling place for Our Lord, where the sacrifice of His Body and Blood can be perpetuated on our altars for His greater honor and glory, and for the salvation of souls.
We are pleased to invite you to our first Masses in the new Church 5975 Golden Gate Parkway on Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Please kindly note that the last Latin Mass in St. Agnes Chapel will be held on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, and the last Latin Mass in St. William will take place on Sunday, January 14th, 2024.
Starting January 22nd, we will have a new Mass schedule:

Weekly Highlights for January 12th to 20th
9am on Saturday, January 13th, RCIA class via Zoom with Fr. van Zee
The traditional Church unity octave begins on January 18th for the intention of the unity of the entire Catholic Church. On January 18th, a fourth-class Votive Mass of the Chair of St. Peter may be celebrated for the opening of the octave.
There will be no Maidens, Acolytes, or choir practice on Saturday, January 20th so every is free to go to the March for Life in Ave Maria.
March for Life in Ave Maria
On Saturday, January 20th, all are invited to the Third Annual March for Life in Ave Maria from 10am to 1pm. Speakers include Pam Stenzel, Senior Regional Clinical Director of Crisis Pregnancy Center Inc, Bishop Frank Dewane, Scott Baier Ceo of CPCI and others. Activities will take place in the football stadium at Ave Maria University. For more information, please email [email protected].
Weekly Highlights for January 5th to January 13th
January 5th, first Friday Mass and devotions at 4pm and Epiphany Water blessing at 5pm.
January 6th, sung Mass of the Epiphany at 6:45am. Maidens' Talent Show at Royal Palm Academy at 9am.
January 6th, a Man Skills Class will take place at the Royal Palm Academy at 9:00 am. The class will be divided into two parts. 1st part (20 minutes) - Handling of the most common roadside emergencies and recommend equipment to have on vehicle. 2nd part (remainder of the time) - Vehicle multipoint inspection.
Epiphany kits will be available after Mass at St. Agnes on the 6th. They will be available in Fort Myers after the 12:30pm Mass on January 7th.
Weekly Highlights for December 29th to January 6th
Friday, January 5th, is the First Friday. We will have Mass at 4pm at St. Agnes and the Epiphany Water blessing at 5pm at St. Agnes. Due to the duration of the blessing and time constraints, there will be no 5:15pm Mass this day.
Saturday, January 6th, sung Mass at 6:45am for the Epiphany. Epiphany kits will be available for purchase for $5 after Mass this day.
Epiphany Water Blessing 2024
On Friday, January 5th, the vigil of the Epiphany, we will have the traditional blessing of the Epiphany water. Mass will be at 4:00 pm at St. Agnes and there will be no 5:15pm Mass. The blessing of the Epiphany water will take place immediately at 5pm.
If you would like to have water blessed, please bring it in large containers (as opposed to many small containers) to the back of the chapel by the tables which are near the entrance.
Gold, incense, myrrh, and chalk will be blessed before Mass on January 6th.
Kits with Epiphany water, blessed incense, and blessed chalk will be available to use for the blessing of your home on January 6th; a donation of $5 is asked. The prayer of blessing to print here; just make sure to change the year to '2024.'
Due to the fact that there is only one priest currently at Corpus Christi, it will not be possible to have Fr. van Zee impart blessings. The head of the house is encouraged to ask the blessing upon the house.
